November 4: Sounds of History: U.S. History In and Through Music

You are invited to an afternoon of live music and American history!

On November 4, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Rockville HS the MCPS Teaching American History grant will host GMU Professor Mike O'Malley and the B-Sides for live music and discussion. The afternoon will combine music with history content for a discussion of America's past, its music, and how to use music in the classroom.

There will be refreshments provided and classroom resources for all attendees (including a music CD).
