
Technology Training Opportunities for
PEP Staff
PEP implemented the Project Assistive Technology for Inclusion (PATI)
Grant during the 2002-2003 school year. Read
about the grant and access some teacher created resources.
Here are just some of the places staff can go to find technology training...
- The Department of Special Education offers training sessions
for special ed teachers
and SEIAs.
- You can also learn more about SEAT software at one of these
sessions.
- They also offer sessions on using
Adobe Acrobat which is the software we use in MCPS to fill
in forms including IEP forms.
- InterACT offers interesting inservices on technology and
augmentative communication. They also cover SEAT software such as
Intellipics, Intellitalk, and Writing with Symbols. To see a list

- The Department of Global Access offers courses on First Class,
Microsoft Office, and more. To see a list of current offerings and

- Cable in the Classroom
offers courses at Comcast for free to teachers. Your media specialist
will get notices about these classes each semester.
