The Three Little Pigs

[Snack Time] [Circle Time] [Fine Motor]

Snack Time

Snack houses. Make the three houses with graham crackers and peanut butter - use crushed shredded wheat, pretzel sticks, and red fruit rollups cut into brick shapes. We make a different house on each of three days. --submitted by Jan Fitch

Circle Time

Act out the story. Use this Boardmaker three pigs dialog board that has only the words needed for children to act out the story or use this Boardmaker three pigs story board to help children retell the story. Both of these communication boards are formatted for the Voice-in-the-Box, preschool version. You will need Boardmaker for Windows to use these overlays If you need help with downloading, click on . --submitted by Jan Fitch

Fine Motor Activities

Make paper pig houses. Make pig houses on construction paper and put a pig in the window. The kids glue on straw, twigs or toothpicks, and corrugated red paper cut in small brick size. --submitted by Jan Fitch

Pig Masks. Make a pig mask with a paper plate, color pink or glue on pink tissue paper squares. Use the masks for acting out the story. --submitted by Jan Fitch
