Snowy Day Motor Group
As an extension of the book Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, we used the
concept of foot prints to do a motor group activity. We had the children
take off their shoes for this. You could do this in any order, but here
are some of the things we included in an obstacle course type motor group:
- The kids stepped in powder ("snow")
- They walked up a foam wedge and looked at their footprints
- They sat on a blanket ("sled") at the top of a scooter board
ramp. Another child was chosen to pull the sled down the hill
