Software Recommendations for Very Young Children

Good Software for Very Young Children.

These are all tested and recommended by Linda. They are listed in order for the very youngest up to the upper preschool level.

• Reader Rabbit's Toddler by The Learning Company
• JumpStart Series by Knowledge Adventure
• McGee Series by Lawrence Productions (Lawrence Productions does not have a website for this product, but you can go to your favorite online store and search for "McGee" to find this one)
• Dr. Seuss Preschool by Broderbund
• The House Series by Edmark. (These programs can be accessed by children too young to use a mouse if you have Intellikeys and the Instant Access Overlays from Intellitools.)
• Thinkin' Things by Edmark. (These programs can be accessed by children too young to use a mouse if you have Intellikeys and the Instant Access Overlays from Intellitools.)
• Kid Pix by The Learning Company
• Chica Chica Boom Boom! by The Learning Company
• Alphabet Blocks by Sierra
• Early Math by Sierra
• Clicker 4 by Crick Software - this is a great tool for both regular and special educators to promote literacy
