Don't reinvent the wheel - check out
these teaching ideas organized by theme.
Also available is a database of teaching ideas to download. Looking
for some ideas for your school's web page, check out the web
pages of other schools to get ideas.
Jump to the Preschool Education Program's links to research and
articles on the web. This list is small but growing because only links
that are immediately useful for preschool teachers are included. The
"back" button at the bottom of the page will take you to the
PEP home page. If you are viewing in frames mode, you can still use
the navigation bar on the left to navigate around the Preschool Zone.
This
section contains dowloadable
files for use with Boardmaker, Intellitools programs and overlays ready
made for the Voice in the Box. You will also find links to the manufacturers
of the equipment needed to use these files. They are all ready to use
activities for a regular or special preschool classroom. Many of these
files were created by teachers in the Preschool Education Program (see
below). More are coming rapidly!

Click here for the home page of the Preschool
Education Program. PEP serves preschoolers with mild to severe
disabilities in Montgomery County, Maryland. Our web page offers
a description of the program as well as technology resources
for preschool teachers who have access to adapted computer devices
and augmentative communication devices.
Here
you will find useful information about how this web page is organized
and how it is related to the Preschool Education Program's web page.
Also, a little history about how this page came to be and giving credit
where credit is due....
