These pages contain downloadable
activities created by PEP staff and others. The activities
have been used by PEP teachers in classrooms with preschoolers
who have a variety of developmental disabilities. Use
the links to the right to find activities for your
classroom.
All files are PC files and in
zip format. After downloading, you will need to "unzip"
the files. Windows 2000 and XP computers can unzip
these files. Right-click on the file and choose "extract"
from the pop-up menu. Each zip file may contain several
resource files, often including a short text file with
a description of the activity and classroom uses.
Activities on these pages are
for Boardmaker by Mayer Johnson and IntelliPics and
IntelliTalk by Intellitools.
Boardmaker software, by Mayer
Johnston,
is required to view and print the Boardmaker files.
Boardmaker files for the Voice in the Box are formatted to fit the preschool
version of the Voice in the Box 6/16 voice output device
by Frame Technologies. A Voice in the Box is not required
to use the files.
The Intellitools
files can be used with the free Intellitools
Player available
from Intellitools.
If you want to edit the files, you will need either
IntelliPics or Intellitalk II (no longer published)
or the updated Intellitools Classroom Suite software.
