Outdoor Education Expectations
Cabin Rules

Be considerate of the feelings and
property of others.

Enter ONLY your room unless given
permission by an adult.

No horseplay, pillow-fights, etc.
will be tolerated.

Do not leave the cabin without permission.
-
Do your share to get the cabin ready
for inspection.
-
Keep all your belongings neat and
organized.
-
Do NOT get up before time set by
the teachers.
Showers
-
Everyone is expected to shower daily.
-
Be considerate of the person in the
shower - give them their time.
-
Shower times and schedules should
be developed for each dorm.
-
Spend no more than 5 minutes in the
shower.
-
The counselor gets first choice of
shower time.
-
Remove all personal belongings from
the shower area.
Dining Hall
-
Be prompt and LINE up outside of
the dining hall.

You will be given a table assignment
that rotates for each meal.
-
Do not change tables-this will result
in a permanent seat.
-
Take only what you can eat. You may
always return for additional food. We do not want to waste food.

Speak in a normal voice.
-
Use the "hand signal" and help your
table get quiet.
-
Respect the KP person - you will
also get a chance to be KP
-
Upon entering, walk quietly to your
table, remain standing until told to sit.
General Rules
-
Be respectful of the camp, camp staff,
and camp property.

Dress for the weather.
-
Do not enter a cabin unless a teacher
or counselor is present.
-
Be prompt (on time) for all activities
and instructional sessions.

Do not litter.
-
Follow directions from your teachers,
counselors, nurse, and on-site coordinator.
-
Never leave camp property and wander
without a teacher's permission.
-
You represent (school) - do not embarrass
yourself or the school.
