Other Quick Kid Pix Activities
  1. Draw a monthly self portrait using the pencil tool and color it in using the paint can.
  2. Use the trees from the wacky paint brush to illustrate the seasons.
  3. Make a class address book using the text tool and importing students digitized pictures or other graphics. Print out in the Teensy size. Have students help put in abc order on 8x10 paper and run enough copies for each student.
  4. Create a number book using the stamp tool.
  5. Use the paintbrush dot to dot option to create a picture. Have students travel to a different computer to connect the dots using the pencil tool.
  6. Make patterns using stamps and have students travel to the next computer to continue the pattern.
  7. Order pictures from smallest to largest using the stamps. For medium stamps, hold down the option key . For large stamps, hold down the shift key. For extra large stamps, hold down both the option and the shift keys.
  8. Use the eraser tool and question mark option to predict what the hidden picture will be. Print the small sized pictures and graph them.
  9. Use the hidden picture animals to match the animals to their homes, add settings to the pictures, or use them as story starters.
  10. Use the moving van to move parts of the hidden pictures to make a puzzle.
