Asian American Education Association of MCPS Scholarship Award 2008
    Scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to outstanding Asian Pacific American students entering college in the fall and planning to major in education. Graduating high school seniors of Asian or Pacific Island descent from MCPS are eligible. College acceptance not required for application, but student must show proof of college admission prior to receipt of scholarship award. Application materials are available in high school counseling offices. Applications must be postmarked by April 16, 2008  2/27/08
Funding Education Beyond High School: The Guide to Federal Student Aid
    The Guide to Federal Student Aid is a comprehensive resource on student financial aid from the U.S. Department of Education. Grants, loans, and work-study are the three major forms of aid available through the Department's Federal Student Aid office. This guide will be available in hard-copy format in high school career centers or from the Student Aid web site.  2/27/08
MCPS Educational Foundation Scholarships
    The MCPS Educational Foundation offers scholarships to graduating seniors ranging from $500 - $3000.  1/23/08
NAACP Scholarships
    The Montgomery County Branch of the NAACP will award five $1,000 scholarships to students residing in Montgomery County.  1/7/08
Montgomery College Scholars Application Deadline
    January 25th is the deadline to apply to the prestigious Montgomery Scholars Honors Program offering a two-year full tuition scholarship and a summer study abroad in Cambridge, England.  1/4/08
Seniors: File your FAFSA Forms
    Beginning January 1st, seniors should file their FAFSA form to maximize chances of receiving financial aid.  1/4/08
