DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION: A small three story stone house built in 1765 and operated by the National Park Service. There's a beautiful perennial garden. Offers a view of middle class life. Six rooms furnished in colonial style. House has pre-Revolutionary architectural merit. Owner had his carpenters sop on first floor. The residence is on the second floor. Parking in Georgetown is limited. Might combine with C. & O. Canal in Georgetown. There is parking for two school buses at the C&O Canal location. Make reservations at least two weeks in advance
