DESCRIPTION AND RESOURCES

DESCRIPTION: The last home of 19th century abolitionist, orator, and editor. The visit includes a film on the life of Frederick Douglass and a tour of Cedar Hill. The tour begins at the visitor's center at 1411 W. St., NW. Parking is available for school buses at the visitor's center. The bookstore has books written by Douglass and books about him and other African Americans. Reservations are needed for groups of 10 or more.
