Encourage Parents to Polish Up on Their Algebra Skills

The Math Dude can show parents how cool algebra can be! Mike DeGraba, also known as The Math Dude from the award-winning MCPS Instructional TV series, is offering a Parent Academy workshop to help parents brush up on their X’s and Y’s.

The free workshop will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, from 7–8:30 p.m. at Kingsview Middle School. Kingsview is located at 18909 Kingsview Road in Germantown. The session is designed to help parents refresh their algebra skills while learning tips and strategies to help their children succeed. Interpretation services and child care will be provided.
