Advises students at Montgomery College, keeping them on track to enroll at a Universities at Shady Grove institution and get their bachelor’s degree.
Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) is a collaborative program that seeks to create a seamless pathway from high school to college completion. ACES will focus on identifying and supporting students that are underrepresented in higher education and those that are the first in their family to attend college. The program will begin in eight MCPS high schools in 2013-2014. Learn More.
Dr. DeRionne Pollard, President of Montgomery College, Dr. Joshua Starr, Superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools and Dr. Stewart Edelstein, Executive Director of The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) launched the Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) program on Sept. 13, 2012 during an event at Montgomery College’s Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus.
