OVERVIEW
LAS-Links assesses English languate ability and proficiency of english language learners. The assessment is composed of four tests, which include Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. A composite score of 3 or higher indiciates a student is proficient. The MSDE target is to have at least 20% of test takers attain proficiency. In 2007, 55% of LAS-Links test takers were proficient.
