Goal 1: Ensure Success for Every Student

Goal 1 Image: Teacher and student The mission of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is to provide a high-quality, world-class education that ensures success for every student through excellence in teaching and learning. This mission requires that each student be provided with access to rigorous curriculum and support toward successful educational outcomes. Goal 1 establishes the expectation that every student achieves or exceeds the performance standards set by the district. Goal 1 encompasses the following milestones and accompanying data points:
