Dr.
Michael Doran-I am beginning my 8th year as the principal here at Wootton High School and I continue to feel I have the best job in education. The students here are caring and embrace the challenge of rigorous coursework. They work hard and play hard.
I truly believe we have moved from a good school to a great school but it is not just because of our phenomenal test scores but the high level of participation and achievement in all we do here to meet the needs of our student body.
I am looking forward to another successful year, and as educators, we get a chance to start over every September maybe I will get it right this time.
As I say to my students regularly, always remember “Patriots Rule”.

Mr. Jeffrey Brown - I am elated to join the Wootton HS administrative team and the Wootton community. More importantly, I am excited to be working with the freshmen who are entering our building each day, the class of 2015. I know that through hard work, discipline, and a desire to grow that students’ can be successful here. We have big shoes to fill to meet the challenge of what it means to be a student at Wootton HS, but we are on this voyage together. Both the staff and I are eager to work with this amazing class with an even better reputation. Class of 2015, the best you’ve ever seen!

Ms. Dyan Gomez - Hello, Wootton High School! I am very excited to join Wootton’s administrative team and be a part of this school community. I look forward to meeting all of the new faces, especially the lucky class of 2013. I have high expectations for students both academically and socially. I am a powerful advocate for students and I want students to truly feel that I believe in them. I am here to help students achieve to their highest potentials, learn the realities of life, and help students become positive, productive members of our society. I look forward to a great school year and to being a part of the Class of 2013’s journey to success. |

I am Dr. Ira K. Thomas, and I am honored to serve as senior class administrator for the Great Class of 2012. I remain very excited to be a member of the Wootton High School administration, and to welcome a new school year. With each new beginning, there is the wonderful opportunity to learn more about the school, students, and staff. I am still proud to be a Patriot with the commitment to high standards that I continue to believe that all students can reach. I pledge to work tirelessly to ensure all students experience high levels of learning and achievement. Personally and professionally, I have worked with young people for well over twenty years in various leadership and clinical capacities. I believe firmly that all students can be successful. I enjoy greatly working with students and observing their academic and social development. I challenge my students to grow and prepare for the demands of life after high school at a university, college, technical training, and/or entry into a career. I also enjoy observing teaching and learning first hand. As is the practice of my administrative colleagues, I too honor an open door policy and pledge to be responsive and helpful. Have a wonderful school year.

Ms. Renee Negin--Welcome to the 2011 - 2012 school year which I will call the year of the “10”. Why? I am beginning my 10th year at Wootton and am very proud to be the administrator for the 10th grade. It continues to be an honor for me to work with a very committed staff and dedicated parents and see incredible students who never cease to amaze me. I believe that every child can be successful and it is a great experience to be part of a team who share that belief. This year I look forward to seeing the sophomores continue building a successful academic foundation as well as participating in extra-curricular activities and being well rounded young people. I hope that students will take advantage of the many opportunities that Wootton has to offer. It is a special place for students and staff. Go class of 2014! |
