Performance Objective: To research current information on mental or clinical disorders utilizing the Media Center's electronic resources.
Assignment: Students will research a specific mental or clinical disorder selected from the list below. The report must include two references, which have been published within the last two years.
The Report must include the following information:
- Describe the disorder.
- Include causes signs or symptoms of the disorder.
- Are there any possible genetic predispositions to the disorder?
- Is the disorder treatable/curable?
- What are the newest medications or treatments? What are these medications or treatments intended to do?
- Are there any side-effects to the medications or treatments? If so, describe them.
