Task Definition
What am I supposed to do?

 

Objective:  To write a research paper, using both print and electronic sources, on a
                  utopia or an intentional community (see the Topics list below).  Either a
                  historical or a contemporary community may be chosen.

Requirements:


Procedure:

1)  Search for the information.
2)  Skim/Read the chosen sources.
3)  Take notes on note cards using your OWN words.
     Do Not Copy the sentences/paragraphs.
4)  Record bibliographic information for each source to use on Works Cited Page.
5)  Using the notes, complete the five-part outline; thesis, three topic sentences
     with three supports.
6)  Use the outline (see outline format below) to write the first draft;
     five paragraphs.
7)  Revise/edit the first draft and write/type the final copy.
