The Student Government Association is here to work for the school! We are excited to bring many fun projects to OTES this year. We have already collected over 1,000 cans of food for the homeless in the community. Now, we’re collecting Toys for Tots for people who are less fortunate than us. The SGA also plans on raising money this year through our Happy Gram sales, and using that money to give something back to our school. We look forward to another great school spirit week in the spring, as well as a fun family activity towards the end of the year. If students have ideas for the SGA, please write them down and give them to one of the officers. We’ll be sure to discuss the ideas at the next Executive Board Meeting!

Manna Food Drive ~ Fall 2006
This is some of the food families at Oakland Terrce collected for the Manna Food Drive. The SGA collected the food from all of the classrooms and encouraged students to donate to needy families in Montgomery County.
